We are applying for this Residential Building Alterations (Renovations) permit as the homeowners to facilitate a kitchen and laundry room renovation. All work will be done by certified and licensed electricians and plumbers. Scope of work is as follows: Building: Removing a hallway closet that goes into the laundry room area. This involves 2 walls, all non-load bearing. Removing a ledge on a wall in the dining room area that protrudes into the laundry room area. These are all non-load bearing. Extending this wall in the dining room to the ceiling. Removing a pantry in the kitchen area that includes 2 non-load bearing walls. Extend additional wall in dining room area to the ceiling to facilitate kitchen range hood ducting. Install kitchen range hood ducting to the ceiling in kitchen, into the attic, and vent through the roof of the home. Plumbing: Swapping the laundry room sink and washer hookup locations to facilitate new placement of the laundry room sink and washer. Moving an existing gas line behind the new washer/dryer location. Moving a gas line in the attic for the HVAC to facilitate the kitchen pantry wall removals. Relocate the refrigerator water supply. Relocate kitchen drain supply lines for sink in concrete subfloor. Remove living room gas fireplace and cap gas line associated with it. Electric: Relocate electrical switches in living room. Relocate kitchen receptacles to under cabinet. Install under cabinet lighting. Relocate kitchen receptacles in previous kitchen peninsula to new peninsula. Relocate dryer/washer electric. Resolve electrical switch for gas fire place.
