Description
We have had a structural engineer come out and access our roof after discovering that an added roof had been installed over existing roof without permitting prior to our purchase of the house. The structural engineer has generated a report and plan of action with stamped drawings indicating the plan for remediation to make roof structurally sound and up to current code where the addition was done prior. None of the existing roof will be touched or modified other than addition previously stated that was not permitted or structurally sound for that matter.
