Footer to be 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep, reinforced with two (2) continuous #5 reinforcing bars, placed horizontally and supported to maintain proper concrete cover.. Footer will be placed in an excavated trench on undisturbed soil, free of organic material and debris. Bottom of trench will be level and compacted prior to concrete placement. Reinforcing steel will be continuous, lapped as required, and tied securely in place prior to inspection and pour. All work to comply with the Florida Building Code (FBC) and local jurisdiction requirements. This footer is intended to support a future aluminum pool screen enclosure, to be permitted separately.
