Description
Interior renovation to close in a new interior wall and modify an existing load-bearing wall located under an existing stairway to create a new closet opening. Work includes cutting and removing LVP flooring where new walls are framed and removing existing ceiling drywall as needed so new framing can be properly attached to existing structural members. New framing will be installed with top and bottom plates, studs, blocking, and anchorage to the concrete slab. A structural header will be installed at the new closet opening per engineered drawings (to be provided), including required king studs and jack studs. New walls will be insulated with R-13 insulation and finished on both sides with ½-inch drywall, including taping, mudding, sanding, and installation of corner bead. Trim and door casing will be installed where needed. No electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work is included
