Description
Installation of an environmental remediation system (rainwater capture and infiltration). The design has been approved by the Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Division and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Two 400-gallon rainwater tanks are to be installed behind the shopping center at the Kwik Stop convenience store. Two of the roof downspouts will be diverted to the tanks. A drainpipe from the tanks will be installed along the north and east sides of the building to a manifold that will be constructed on the east side of the building. The manifold will route the rainwater via five underground pipes to five existing slotted pipes located beneath the front driveway. New and existing underground piping from a former remediation system will be utilized. Rainwater will infiltrate into the soil through the slotted pipes during rain events.
