Description
The proposed project is intended to restore the ground elevations along the southeast boundary of 12023 Cardinal Flower Dr. to those that existed at the completion of construction of the house in 2017. This boundary is shared by the adjacent property located at 11908 Water Blossom Way. The project will also better harmonize the small berm along the property line with the adjacent property. This includes significantly lowering the berm and building a shallow wall in order to prevent encroachment off the berm onto the adjacent property. This will result in a net reduction in earthwork during the project. The original drainage, approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), had runoff flow in a southeasterly direction along the property line to the street gutter, and ultimately to the storm sewer system. Subsequent construction of the berm had little or no effect on this drainage pattern, and restoratoin of the SWFWMD approved 2017 elevations will not adversely affect drainage of either property. Improvements are to be made by the 12023 Cardinal Flower Dr. property owners upon approval by Hillsborough County Building Services.
