Description
COM/INT&EXT REM/HARVEST BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP CHURCH RENOVATION ONLY - The existing building is a former church which is now vacant. The existing building spaces included a worship area, classrooms, restrooms, a gym w/ kitchen, and a cafe/seating area. The building is to be renovated for a new church. Most of the scope of work pertains to an interior renovation/repair with no new square footage created and no new occupancy occurring. Scope of interior work consists of mostly cosmetic repairs and finish updates throughout the building. Minor demolition will occur in several areas of the building for the reconfiguration of space to adjust classroom and restroom layouts. The existing worship area & platform are to remain and receive new finishes. The existing pews in the worship area will be removed and replaced with pew chairs. There is no new work proposed for the gym except to add entry doors and replace the existing water fountain with an accessible compliant one. There is a small exterior scope of work which includes a new free-standing canopy & columns over the existing entry sidewalk at the main entry doors. We are adding several new exterior egress doors as required for building exiting; therefore, we will be proposing minor sidewalk/landing work at the new doors. In addition, we are replacing all the existing single windows with new replacement windows. The existing storefront and entry system will remain.
