During the roof removal, when the roofers removed the drip cap off the top of the rear wall of the building, the stucco started falling off the wall. The roofer tested the stucco attachment, as they did the stucco fell off in large pieces. They notified Cricle K management who then called D-Mar General Contracting to inspect and develop a plan to correct/repair the wall. Upon inspection it was discovered that a significant number of the structural studs had water damage to point of complete deterioration. D=Mar when in and added shoring inside the back room to support the roof system, then we replaced the exterior studs with same and re=sheeted the exterior of the wall that was exposed. D-Mar noted the it will be necessary to take the mast head for the electric service off the building to repair the remaining wall. D- Mar contacted Cole Electric to arrange removing the service and setting it up on a temporary pole to keep the building operational. D-mar has made the first section of the wall repair safe but nothing has been covered for being inspected. Please see the attached pictures of the building and the statis of repair at this time. Our intention is to build back with the same as was existing. Our electrician has made contract with TECO engineering an is working out the service work with them and then will be adding that scope to our permit.
